For my time visualization project, I decided to document my day-to-day experience over the span of 6 days. Everywhere I went or whichever room I moved to within my home, I wrote it down in my journal along with the action I was performing at the time. This project was really an eye-opener to my everyday routine. I realized, I spent a lot of time at home and not just at home but in my room. I chose to represent this data in a physical form because I was intrigued by the process and the outcome of the information in this form. I'm used to seeing data represented digitally or on paper and creating a physical model allowed me to explore an avenue I am very much interested in.
Each string of beads represents one full day and each bead represents an interval of 10 minutes. The color of the beads indicates the room that I'm in within my home or outside of my home. Each wooden bead means I've left my home. Bedroom: Black
